Quality System
The Center has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System accreditation, Certificate No. 194114.
Since 2002, the Center has been recognised as a Regional Reference Center for Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia – Kartagener’s Syndrome (Veneto Regional Council Resolution no. 204 of 8/2/2002).
In 2010, the Center underwent an external audit by an international commission accredited by the UK Trust. Click to view the report on the Center.
Recognition as a Regional Center of Excellence was granted in 2012, as certified by the Italian Cystic Fibrosis League.
Since 2014, the Center has been a Regional Reference Center for Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome (Veneto Regional Council Resolution no. 2707 of 29/12/2014).
During 2016, the Center applied for regional accreditation for rare diseases, with specific reference to Ciliary Dyskinesia and Cystic Fibrosis, as well as affiliation to the European Reference Network.
2017 saw the completion of the Regional Authorisation and Accreditation process, as per Regional Law 22/2002.
In 2020, the Center passed the second periodic maintenance audit, an external assessment required in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System (QMS).
